Guidelines on potraying a good image on Social media

I'm pretty certain that you do not want to be the kind of person who is unemployable, because of what lies beyond your C.V.  Technology has improved over the years, which benefits a lot of companies, small businesses, and people through marketing themselves as well as their brands.

Source: Google.
A positive image leads to a good reputation and this can also be it, through social networks. Such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest, just to name a few.ain public relations, one needs to follow a Public relations strategic plan as well as marketing in order for you or your brand to be successful. And this can be done through social media which is cost effective, faster and reaches a large audience.
In Public Relations a good image is vital for you and your brand, so that contributes to your reputation within the industry. Therefore, there are guidelines to follow in order to achieve a good image and a positive reputation on social networks.

THE GUIDELINES:

Think twice.
First thing , you have to think twice about what you intend on sharing. This helps question yourself whether its for a good course or not.

Use your own identity
Make sure that you do not identify yourself as some else, however use your own information, where be it, creating an account or sharing information. This shows honesty, which is the fist step to building a positive image for yourself.

Be respectful
Have respect for yourself and others.
When Sharing respect other peoples beliefs, values and sexuality. Don't share or tag nude pictures, of yourself or someone else's. Take caution of what you share, because it will be public either way.         " Once its out there, its out there."
Although, we are all entitled to our own opinions, we can always comment in a good manner and instead of being harsh or judging, give advise instead.

Privacy Settings
Always create a password for your account that only you know, and do not give it to people you do not trust including friends.
This make it difficult for people to temper with your account, because what ever is shared there... It is your responsibility and you are the one accountable for what is shared.

With the guidelines read, and kept in mind, this may associated with Google analytics. Imagine yourself longing to work for a particular company or industry ever since you where in your high schools years. Now that you have studied and received a qualification you want to make your dream a reality, by submitting your C.V as well as going for interviews which you believe to have nailed. However there's a catch, you are not accepted for that position because the company used Google analytics to know you beyond your perfect C.V and the interview you nailed. All because of the guidelines you failed to follow and social network etiquette. This means your dream is shattered and broken into pieces. Just imagine...

                                                           YOUR OPINION

Are the guidelines useful, and/ or consider using them for yourself?

Google Analytics through Social Media

Social media is a way of interacting with different people on social networks, which is faster and more convenient. Such as Google +, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn... Just to name a few.
Well, are you using any social networks to your advantage and for the right purpose?

Working is not an easy task nor is job hunting therefore, have you considered that having a perfect C.V and cover letter does not necessarily guarantee you a job. There is a way whereby, companies may know their potential employees beyond their C.V's through social media, such as Google analytics by Social analytics.
This is way of measuring your interaction on social media, such what you share, like, tweet, post  your content as well conversations on social networks. Of which I found to be very interesting.
Therefore you should be careful of how you represent yourself on social networks, which is vital not only for your reputation, but also for the future....

Watch out for my second post, for more info.
